Wilful Murder

Wilful Murder or Burnt (working title) is the true story of a pioneering family chopping and clearing their way along the coast of northwest Tasmania. Ann, the eldest daughter of two convicts, is indicted of murdering her new born baby by her community. She rebuilds her life, learning to read and write, and wishes to become a successful woman. Her brother Henry spends thirteen years on the goldfields and worries about finding his family again. While Charlie becomes a bullock driver and works his way through remote areas to build a future for his family.
